Iris Brockman, a minor character in Volume 1 of the "Tales of Gnosis College." She gets to be a star in Volume 2, though. My best pin-up for "Apsinthion Protocol" so far.

I do have a slight quibble with myself over the proportions on the right hand. I would like to someday draw something perfectly (it will never happen) but, in particular, the right hand seems to miss what I'm aiming for my a couple of pencil-lead widths.

Ain't that the kicker? It can just be a few pencil-lead widths, and it just isn't right. I sometimes feel that way about every single line in a picture.

A lot of the time you just have to know when enough nit-picking is enough.

Jon Lovitz played an art teacher at a community college where Marge Simpson takes a class once, and he had absolutely the best art-teacher lines of all time in that episode. One student he tells: "No, step away, it belongs to the ages now. Well, perhaps just that one last brush-stroke. Ah, perfection!"
